University information
Seton Hall welcomes applications from international students for admission into full-time, on-campus graduate degree programs, as well as online graduate degree programs. Students who wish to pursue an on-campus graduate degree program must apply for, or already have, a valid visa status that permits full-time study in the United States. For students applying for the F1 visa status, the Office of International Programs (OIP) provides counseling and support for all student visa and immigration issues, and also assists international students in becoming active members of the University and surrounding communities, including a variety of services and social/cultural activities for this purpose.

That’s why we've developed a comprehensive support system to ensure that every student, especially those from international backgrounds, feels valued and supported. The International Student Support Group provides a supportive space, giving international students "a space to just be." In addition, the Global Friends program, a collaborative effort between the Office of International Programs and the Global Learning Center, is designed to help international students feel more connected and adjust to the culture here. This student-support resource pairs international students with domestic undergraduate, graduate and ESL students who are interested in fostering cross-cultural friendships and being beacons for the international Pirates who have landed on the shores of Seton Hall’s campuses.
The University routinely offers professional-level opportunities for graduate students to engage with their future profession. This includes hands-on research projects guided by faculty, and student organizations such as the Student Bar Association for law students or professional associations for students in the School of Health and Medical Sciences programs.
