Established in 2006 Siberian Federal University (SibFU) is one of the Russian 20 top universities with 21 schools that provide a wide range of academic programs in natural sciences, humanities and engineering.

Home to over 26,000 students, including more than 1,000 international students from 47 countries, SibFU fosters a supportive and multicultural atmosphere within a vibrant research environment.

96 undergraduate and 187 postgraduate programs (programs in English included) in natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and  humanities are regularly reviewed by the industry, business and government to ensure graduates are prepared for today’s changing global market.  The  employability of our graduates is ranked as one of the best in Russia.

As the tuition at the undergraduate level is in the  Russian language only, we provide the preparatory course of Russian as a  foreign language, and afterwards a student can apply for a degree program (http://welcome.sfu-kras.ru/#eduprogramms).

The Summer School programs have been already held online this year due to the spread of Covid-19. Further details of our 2021 program will be available in  autumn.

Students will be surprised with tuition fees from 1700 USD up to 4000 USD per year depending on the academic program in combination  with very affordable and comfortable housing on campus. Residential life system of 30 fully equipped modern residence halls and not high rent payment. SibFU is  consistently ranked in the top 20 Russian universities with the best campus in the country.

About 90 percent of undergraduate students live on campus and enjoy wonderful outdoor and indoor sports facilities (the heritage of the 29 Winter Students’ Games) and over 100 students’ clubs as life of a SibFU student is not all about studying.
