The degree in Enhanced Paramedic Practice has been developed to enable Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered paramedics undertaking work-based learning and practice development to gain academic credit for their learning.

Entry onto the BSc programme requires; current employment as a HCPC registered paramedic and evidence of 120 credits at level 5.
Alternatively, paramedics without 120 credits at level 5 can access the BSc on completion of the Diploma in Enhanced Professional Practice. For example, IHCD paramedics can apply for APeL through assessment of their practice portfolio and be awarded credits for their experiential learning by the School of Health and Social Care. The remaining credits will be achieved through the modules within the Enhanced Professional Practice Diploma.
