Tajik NationalUniversity (TNU) with 70 years of history is considered one of the leading andthe largest higher educational institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan.Currently, the university has 19 faculties where education is being carried outaccording to three cycles of education: Bachelor, Master and PhD on 98 fieldsof study.
Tajik National University (TNU) has signedbilateral cooperation agreements with more than 190 foreign universities andinstitutes. The university is a member of more than 10 internationalassociations, such as Eurasian Association of Universities, Universityof Chinghai Cooperation Organization, University of CIS countries,etc. Presently, at the university are also functioning 107 specialized and 7 generaluniversity departments, Scientific –research institute , Lyceum with direction of natural science andmathematics, E-library, 112 Scientific- research and academiclaboratories, Internet centres, 52 computerized classrooms , 39 Languagestudies, Biotechnological centre, Technological park, Confucius culturalcentre, Foundation Department.
