Tarsus University is a dynamic and research-oriented higher education institution in Türkiye, committed to providing high-quality education, fostering academic excellence, and contributing to regional and international development. Building on an academic tradition that dates back to 1992, Tarsus University has continued to expand its educational and research capacity since becoming an independent university in 2018. Tarsus University comprises six faculties, three vocational schools, one School of Foreign Languages, and one graduate institute. With more than 6,000 students and over 250 academic staff, the University offers 18 undergraduate, 25 associate degree, 22 master's, and 8 doctoral programmes across a diverse range of disciplines. Its academic portfolio includes aerospace engineering and aviation management; engineering disciplines such as computer, electrical and electronics, industrial, mechanical, and energy systems engineering; political science and public administration; finance and banking; international trade and logistics; as well as health-related fields including nursing, midwifery, and speech and language therapy. The University also provides vocational and professional education through a range of associate degree programmes designed to support students' practical and career-oriented development. At the graduate level, Tarsus University offers master's and doctoral programmes in areas including engineering, health sciences, business and economics, international trade and logistics, finance, manufacturing, and occupational health and safety. Through its graduate education and research activities, the University supports interdisciplinary approaches, research competencies, and the development of innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. Research and academic productivity are central to Tarsus University's development. According to the 2024 University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report published by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Tarsus University ranked first nationwide in publications per faculty member. This achievement reflects the University's growing research capacity and its commitment to strengthening a productive and quality-oriented academic environment.
