TOBB University of Economics and Technology

TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU) was founded by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in 2004 with the mission of creating qualified human resources to contribute to the development of our country's industrial and commercial life. TOBB ETU, which offers 24 different undergraduate programs, has formed 60% of its faculty with Turkish academics invited from abroad. The University is a modern and dynamic educational institution that also teaches its students to produce knowledge. TOBB ETU, which is among the most prominent universities considering its high quality programs, is aiming to become an international center of excellence with its research centers, and with its laboratories equipped with cutting-edge technology. TOBB ETU has developed the Cooperative Education Program, to nurture qualified human resource which is the need of industry, to deliver theoretical and practical education in integrity and to create a balance between university and industry in terms of delivering instruction. With the Cooperative Education Program, which is first of its kind and unique in Turkey, students acquire job experiences by working on paid basis for three nonconsecutive trimesters summing up to a total of 12 months at firms and institutions operating in various sectors.
