What are the entry requirements for UBI Business School and how do I apply?

UBI Business School welcomes both undergraduate and postgraduate applications via their online application portal. Full details about the application process, including information for international applicants can be found on their website. 

Undergraduate entry requirements (BSc)

To apply to study your undergraduate degree with UBI business school, you will need:

  • A secondary or high school diploma.
  • Some background in mathematics is recommended. UBI offers an on-demand foundation course if you need additional help.
  • Evidence of your English proficiency if English isn’t your first language e.g. minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL iBT score of 72. This is waived if your previous education was in English.

Postgraduate entry requirements (MSc)

To apply to study your postgraduate degree with UBI business school, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree or five years of management work experience.
  • Evidence of your English proficiency if English isn’t your first language e.g. minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL iBT score of 72. This is waived if your previous education was in English.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) entry requirements 

To apply to study your MBA with UBI business school, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree or five years of management work experience.
  • Two years of professional experience
  • Evidence of your English proficiency if English isn’t your first language e.g. minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL iBT score of 72. This is waived if your previous education was in English.

Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA)  entry requirements

To apply to study your DBA with UBI business school, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • An MBA/EMBA or a master’s degree
  • An undergraduate degree
  • A minimum of 6-10 years of full-time management experience
  • Evidence of your English proficiency if English isn’t your first language e.g. minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL iBT score of 72. This is waived if your previous education was in English.

UBI visa applications for international students

  • Incoming students requiring a visa must pay a 9,850 euro deposit (including tuition and admin fees) to secure their place and receive necessary documents for the visa application.
  • This deposit is fully refundable if your visa is rejected or you defer/withdraw before the programme starts.
  • Alternatively, you can make a 1,000 euro non-refundable down payment to reserve your spot and pay the remaining fees later.
  • Apply for a multiple-entry student visa type D valid for the programme duration after receiving UBI's registration letter.
  • Visa applications can be complex and time-consuming, so start gathering documents and preparing well in advance.

When it comes to cost of living, Brussels is lower than many other major European cities. Plan on budgeting EUR 890-1300 per month to cover food and housing. You’re also able to work up to 20 hours a week as a student in Belgium, helping to top up your funds.

HyFlex combines online and in-person learning with live-streamed lessons every other week and independent study in between for maximum flexibility.
All applications are submitted online through our website's portal. Alternatively, candidates may book an appointment for any of our programmes or campuses to answer any questions they may have prior to an application.
