About UCFB x GIS

Students at the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) and Global Institute of Sport (GIS)  can utilise the unique learning and sporting environments in both the London and Manchester campuses – which have the iconic Wembley and Etihad stadiums at the heart of the institution.

GIS offers a ground-breaking Master’s degree portfolio utilising a global network of industry leaders and its elite stadium venues in the UK, US, Canada and Australia.

UCFB and GIS provide students with a stimulating curriculum on-campus, through online degree programs and at global hubs. Media, marketing, finance, coaching and event management, amongst others, are all sectors of sporting industries that are growing at a rate never seen before, with new roles being created on a daily basis.

UCFB and GIS believe there are three necessary requirements for a career in the football and sports industry: a degree, industry contacts and work experience on your CV.

Students learn from leading team of academics, as well as the necessary theory through books, research and presentations before hearing from industry guest speakers on the intricacies of their profession.

UCFB and GIS students are encouraged to go out in the industry and do it themselves. The Employability & Enrichment team provides students with numerous opportunities to apply for unique work experience roles in the UK and abroad.
