This programme aims to develop the cognitive, psychomotor and interpersonal skills required to enable independent practice of endodontics. It is studied either full-time over two years or part-time over four years and has a strong clinical bias.
The programme teaches a broad and deep understanding of endodontology, enabling students to apply appropriate clinical strategies from first principles. Mentored coaching specifically targets development of independent learning skills, with the aim of achieving long-term mastery.
Students undertake modules to the value of 360 credits.
Year one consists of core modules (135 credits) and a dissertation (30 credits). Year two consists of core modules (135 credits) and a dissertation (60 credits).
Students may opt to undertake a further year of clinical training to map the training to the GDC approved specialty curriculum.
Upon successful completion of 360 credits, you will be awarded a MClinDent in Endodontology.
