La Universidad de la Costa CUC is a Higher Education Institution that seeks to positively influence in the Caribbean Region and Colombia, in order to generate asustainable development through comprehensive training citizens, innovative andcompetitiveness. The University has a great staff able to provide and nurturethe students' knowledge, bestowed the responsibility to train professionals inthe service of society.

The institution was founded in the city of Barranquillain 1970 through the efforts of seven visionary social entrepreneurs, and sinceits inception has been involved in the process of building a region committedto the advancement and development of the country. The Universidad de la Costahas more of 40 years at the service of education; actually, it has 163classrooms for lecture classes, 37 computer labs, 34 labs and 5 classrooms fordrawing.

Nowadays, the Universidad de la Costa has 8 accredited programs by the Ministryof Education. These achievements show the commitment of La Universidad de laCosta to academic excellence.

La Universidad de la Costa graduatescomprehensive, competitive professionals, with innovative initiatives, andleadership attitude, who work for a balance between the economic, social andenvironmental factors, thereby contributing to a sustainable development of theCaribbean region and the country.
