Employing over 1,700 academic faculty staff to cater to more than 83,000 students, the Universidad Tecnológica de México (UNITEC) offers over 90 programs taught in Spanish.

UNITEC is a large university comprised of 2 campuses in Mexico City, 5 in province Toluca, León, Guadalajara and Querétaro (September 2017) and 1 online campus.

UNTEC has been given Academic Excellence from the Ministry of Education (only 21 out of 2,000 institutions nationally have this recognition) and is fully accredited by the Federación de Instituciones Mexicanas Particulares de Educacion Superior (FIMPES) that brings together the leading private universities in Mexico.

As well as being featured in the QS University Rankings: Latin America, which highlights the region’s leading higher education institutions, UNITEC has also been rated an overall three stars in the QS Stars University Ratings. It achieved the maximum five stars in four categories: ‘employability’, ‘inclusiveness’, ‘online’ and ‘teaching’.
