The Degree Course in “Igiene Dentale” (qualifying for the health profession of dental hygienist) aims to train health workers who carry out activities aimed at prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and functional assessment procedures, with a title and professional autonomy for both individuals and the community, compatible with the skills required by their professional profile. The course is divided into three years and provides for the acquisition of 180 CFU in total for the purposes of obtaining a degree in Dental Hygiene. The dental hygienist holding the qualification has professional perspectives to perform activities both in public and privates sectors, self-employed or self-employed regime as a community, hospital or university hygienist.
