8 departments, 4 education areas, more than 100 diplomas: the University of Corsica offers a wide range of academic programmes closely linked to the occupational sectors.The University is strongly open to the world. It aims at developing a genuine mobility culture among the students, and hosts more than 300 students from more than 50 different countries within the Corte campuses. The University of Corsica is linked to more than 150 institutions through various exchange programmes and is part of ARC, Euro Mediterranean Research and Cooperation Association, made up of Genoa, Nice Sophia Antipolis, Paris VI, Pisa, Torino and Toulon Universities. It also created the Island Territories Excellence Network (RETI), which currently brings together 26 universities.To pave the way for success and integration of its 4,500 students, the University of Corsica enjoys a broad range of academic programmes, divided into 4 basic areas (Law-Economics-Management, Art-Literature-Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences-Technologies-Health-STAPS), including state-of-the-art teachings such as a first year in Medical Studies or an Engineering School.The University of Corsica ranks among the best French Universities in terms of Bachelor’s degree success rate. According to a 2014 survey from the Higher Education and Research Ministry, it ranks 6th out of 77 universities in terms of Bachelor’s degree success rate for the students who remained in the same university for the 3 years. This performance can be partly explained by the relatively low number of students that enables a special connection between students and professors.
