University of Oran1 is the result of the restructuring of the University of Oran by Decree No.114-262 of 22 September 2014.It is organized into 5 faculties and 2 institutes with a total of 22 departments spread over 8 campuses and a teaching center intensive language training. Its training offer covers 9 areas and 23 branches: 36 offers of license, 63 offers of master, 3 offers of Faculty of Sciences of Matter. This offer is reinforced at the start of the 2017-2018 academic year by the Institute of Science and Applied Technology accreditation of a professionalization license in the economics, management and commercial sciences area, entitled "Business and Administration Management (BAM)". And currently, by the Institute of Criminal Sciences.
Mission Statement :
• Training of the necessary managerial staff for the economic, social and cultural development of the country • Initiation of students into research methods and the promotion of training by and for research • Contribution to the production and widespread dissemination of knowledge and its acquisition and development • Participation in continuing education • Contribution to the national effort of scientific research and technological development • Promotion and dissemination of national culture • Participation in strengthening the national technical scientific potential • Participation in the international scientific and cultural community in knowledge exchange and enrichment.
