Founded in 1958, the University of Aleppo is one of Syria’s largest and most prestigious universities, located in the city of Aleppo. The university serves as a hub for higher education, research, and cultural exchange in Syria and the broader region.

·          Mission: To provide high-quality education, advance research, and contribute to sustainable development in Syria and the region.

3. Academic Structure

·          Faculties: 19 faculties covering fields such as Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, Science, Arts, Economics, Law, and Education.

·          Institutes: 9 technical institutes, the Higher Institute of Languages, and the Institute of Arab Scientific Heritage.

·          Research and Specialized Centers: 13 centers including the Center for Strategic Studies, the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer, the Center for Biotechnology, and other specialized research and development centers.
