Postgraduate Overview

University of the Arts London (UAL) is ranked 2nd in the world for Art and Design in the 2020 QS World University Rankings®, for the second year in a row, and is Europe's largest specialist university for art and design.

UAL draws together six renowned Colleges, each with a long established, global reputation for producing outstanding work:

Postgraduate study at UAL

UAL offers a range of courses in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts at postgraduate level.

As well as MA courses, the University offers Graduate Diplomas, Postgraduate Certificates, Postgraduate Diplomas, an Executive MBA and MSc qualifications, all delivered by inspiring and supportive teaching staff made up of professional artists, practitioners, designers, critics and theorists. Each of UAL’s Colleges boasts specialist equipment and facilities, including stunning galleries, dramatic workspaces and performance venues. Students have access to a range of learning resources — including archives and special collections, with items dating from the 15th century to the 21st — and can borrow materials from all of the College libraries.
