UCW aims to create a diverse and challenging environment that helps students to become leaders in the business world. It also gives students a practical understanding of business and support in developing hands-on skills. Each faculty member is passionate about teaching and wants to make a difference in the life of their students.

The university has been praised several times for its services to higher education in Canada, including an Education Quality Assurance designation, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, Imagine Education and Languages Canada.

According to The Economist, Vancouver was voted the 3rd best city to live. With its ocean and its mountains, it is a beautiful modern city, a hub of commercial activities, as well as an exciting, multicultural metropolis. UCW’s campus is located at the heart of the city, in the historic London Building.
