Within a values and faith base, we offer you an array of perspectives and broad exposure to our truly global society. The University comprises the undergraduate college, the graduate school, and the theological seminary. In light of its Mission, the University will continually re-examine and adjust the core curriculum to achieve an artful and purposeful blend of the arts, sciences, humanities, and theology. Where appropriate, these disciplines will be infused within the professional programs offered. A value-laden education which focuses on justice, ethics, and responsible stewardship within a globally diverse community will be stressed. New graduate and undergraduate degree programs of a professional nature will be developed to meet the needs of local, regional, national, and international markets. Students will be challenged to embrace life-long learning in and outside of the classroom. Educational experiences will be enhanced by service learning and technology. Use of the library and other external data sources will be emphasized. The University will be technologically current. Human Resources supports the Mission of the University of Dubuque by partnering with all parts of the University community to provide innovative and timely resources, policies, programs, and services that attract, develop, and retain a highly qualified and diverse workforce.
