Overview

Leeds University Business School is one of the most influential in Europe, receiving global recognition for the quality of our teaching and research. Our courses are taught by world-leading academics and informed by the latest professional knowledge. We are AMBA and EQUIS accredited, ranked in the top 100 universities in the world. It is also ranked in the UK’s top ten in the latest Research Assessment Exercise (2008). This combination means a degree from Leeds is both recognized and sought after by employers worldwide. Leeds is the largest centre for financial services in the UK outside of London and hosts the only subsidiary office of the Bank of England. Many national and international companies, such as Ernst & Young, Asda-Walmart and KPMG, are either based in Leeds or have major operations here. Leeds is a thriving, lively place to live and study. You can benefit from dedicated student support from the International Student Office to help make your transition to Leeds as smooth as possible. The University of Leeds has been ranked 1st out of 16 Russell Group universities for its arrival services for international students and second for ‘overall average satisfaction’ in the International Student Barometer Survey, 2012.

Leeds University Business School has several management master’s programs available, including ones in management, management consulting, supply chain management, and global strategy and innovation management. The management program is AMBA accredited. The school has been placed in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.

The management master’s is a 12-month, full-time program. Throughout the program, opportunities for career development are abundant, including the flagship Corporate Wisdom Lecture Series, which has had speakers from companies including Deloitte and Siemans PLC. The global strategy and innovation management program includes courses on the globalization of innovation, operations and supply chain management, and research design and analysis. There is also the opportunity for management students to partake in the Leaders in Residence initiative program, which involves students engaging with senior figures in the business world. This allows students to gain a rare insight into business, and gain advice from those already established in the industry.
