Digitalisation, Computing and Electronics provides solid skills and an extensive knowledge base in technologies required in the digitalised world.

Students get exposed to a wide range of ICT related teaching and research available at the University of Oulu.

DICE combines three degree programmes under one roof, and the student can choose which path to take. The student can apply for:

Software Engineering and Information Systems,
Computer Science and Engineering or
Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Software Engineering and Information Systems includes courses in programming, software and systems; Computer Science and Engineering includes studies in AI, cyber security and applied computing, and Electronics and Communications Engineering consists of studies in circuits, analog and digital techniques and wireless communications.

Applicants applying with qualification other than the Finnish matriculation examination, IB, EB or DIA/RP degree are selected on basis of a SAT test in Evidence-based reading and writing and Mathematics.
