This course is the same as our aerospace engineering degree, with added initial flight training. Individual arrangements may be made with a local flying school to continue to a UK or European Private Pilot's Licence. Your acceptance for pilot instruction is subject to medical and security checks. Modules cover aero propulsion, aerodynamic design, aircraft dynamics and control, computational aerodynamics and project management. You'll also take ground training for flight and five hours of flight training. Your study includes some experience of flight instrumentation and an individual investigative project of your choice.
