Strathclyde Business School (SBS) is Scotland's premier business school - internationally respected as one of the most innovative and largest business schools of its kind in Europe.  SBS was named Business School of the Year in the Times Higher Education 2016 awards announced in November. The award was made in recognition of the Business School’s innovative and entrepreneurial attitude and its overall ‘outstanding’ performance.

We consistently demonstrate excellence in the quality of our teaching, research and knowledge exchange and our drive and motivation to continue to improve is boundless.

The most recent assessment of our research, the Research Excellence Framework (REF) measured the quality and breadth of research within the business school and the REF’s assessment put us in the top 10 business schools in the UK for its research and first in Scotland (December 2014). The REF indicated that SBS was strong overall in its research and was particularly robust in terms of Impact, a measure of how the research impacts on practise in business.

Our excellent international reputation attracts students from around 100 countries. When you choose to study with us in SBS, you join an international community in top-rated schools with an excellent reputation for quality in teaching and research.
