The most recent assessment of our research, the Research Excellence Framework (REF) measured the quality and breadth of research within the business school and the REF’s assessment put us in the top 10 business schools in the UK for its research and first in Scotland (December 2014). The REF indicated that SBS was strong overall in its research and was particularly robust in terms of Impact, a measure of how the research impacts on practise in business.
