This hierarchy introduces many levels of educational objectives. It also translates into a constant, multi-faceted evaluation of the program’s success and its ability to attain the desired outcomes. The MSOH degree can typically be completed in 1.5 to 2 years and requires a research-based master’s thesis or project. Full time students may receive full or partial NIOSH stipend support. With stipends, the University of Utah may also include some tuition assistance.
