Support of International Students

Ural Federal University offers a range of adaptation measures for international students. Within the Buddy program, Russian and international university students help newcomers adapt to their studies and solve all organizational matters (meeting at the airport/train station, settling into the dormitory, medical examination and obtaining health insurance). In addition, international students are introduced to the university, local sights, and the region.

All international students get a place in the dormitory located within walking distance from the academic buildings. The dorms have sports halls and lounges; students have access to the Internet. The cost of living in the dormitory is about USD 100 per academic year. The medical unit of UrFU is located on the territory of the campus.
