Founded more than 60 years ago, VLUTE has grown from a vocational teacher training school into a multidisciplinary university. It is recognized for its strengths in engineering education, applied sciences, and technical and vocational teacher training in Vietnam. Its mission is to nurture graduates who are academically competent, practically capable, and ready to address both regional and global challenges.
Academic Strengths
VLUTE offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Food Technology, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, and Educational Sciences. The university is particularly distinguished in technical teacher education, with curricula closely aligned with industry needs.
All programs emphasize practice-oriented learning. Students actively participate in projects related to digital transformation in education, sustainable engineering and green construction, innovation, and technology transfer. This approach equips them with relevant professional skills while fostering creativity and adaptability.
