West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University (WKITU)

West Kazakhstan Innovational and Technological University is a multidisciplinary university with many years of experience in training personnel in the fields of education, law, business, engineering, construction, veterinary medicine , etc . WKITU carries out educational activities in accordance with state license No. KZ70LA00005828 dated September 30 , 2015 . Over the years , the university has trained over 40,000 specialists, including: deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis, employees of ministries and departments, heads and specialists of state -owned enterprises and private firms, managers of the public administration system , public figures. The University's long- term development history and image in the educational services market determine the uniqueness of the University 's mission, vision and strategy. The University 's mission is to generate new knowledge, innovations and technologies in order to train socially responsible individuals and competitive personnel with creative thinking. The university 's vision is to become a center of attraction in the field of science and education in Western Kazakhstan. Currently, more than 10,000 students and undergraduates are studying at WKITU , including from the Russian Federation, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Professional training is a basic level in the educational process system and is carried out in accordance with the requirements of regulatory legal acts. WKITU has 9 academic buildings, student dormitories, 3 standard gyms and 2 auxiliary halls. Every year, the university participates in the National Ranking of demand for universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is included in the "TOP 15" of the best universities in Kazakhstan. In the ranking of educational programs of universities of Kazakhstan, conducted by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" , the educational programs of WKITU are annually included in the TOP 10 of the best. WKITU is the only university in the West Kazakhstan region that trains specialists in the educational programs "Translation" and "Architecture". The teaching staff of the University meets the qualification requirements for the educational activities of the  Ministries of Science and Higher Education  of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The university's teaching staff consists of specialists who have graduated from leading universities in the country, worked in research institutes and practical teachers with extensive work experience.  The University 's teaching staff is actively working on publishing scientific research in journals registered in international databases ( Scopus , etc . ) , in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan , and other domestic and foreign scientific journals . As measures for organizing effective activities and motivation , the management offers teaching staff a decent salary, takes into account the wishes when scheduling, distributing the workload, creates conditions for research activities, professional and career growth.  The University provides teachers with the opportunity to do internships and PhD programs in countries near and far abroad . The university 's scientific base includes research laboratories of pedagogical and technological profile, an Engineering and Professional Certification Center, teaching excellence classrooms, methodological and interactive classrooms, educational television studios , an inclusive education classroom, and others. Scientific research works are carried out on orders from the institutions of the region and the region. There is a scientific journal "Bulletin of the WKITU ". Every year, university students win prizes based on the results of competitions, subject Olympiads and scientific conferences, and sports competitions held in Kazakhstan and abroad.  Social support for students , ensuring access to education at the university is an important component of the university 's social policy . Employment is one of the main directions of WKITU development. The annual average employment rate of university graduates is more than 70%, which indicates the demand for university graduates in the labor market.  Currently , WKITU has concluded more than eighty agreements on cooperation in the field of science and education with leading domestic and foreign universities and research institutes .
