About Wroclaw University of Economics and Business
Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (WUEB) is a public national university, stated in the 1947, operating within the Public Higher Education System, with accreditation from the Ministry of Education in Poland. The Constitution of the Republic of Poland ensures the autonomy of schools of higher education and the principles of their operation have been set out in the Act of July 27, 2005, on Higher Education, and in the Act 2.0 introduced in 2019. However, the University is obliged to comply with the resolutions and ordinances of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which, inter alia, grants the permissions to teach courses of study, defines the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), including the description of learning outcomes, and deals with the matters of the University bodies’ compliance with the legal regulations and the Statute.The mission and vision of WUEB set the course for the development of the University, constituting the basis for our strategic priorities.The vision has been formulated as follows: Business University – Leader of changes.The key strategic objectives for WUEB: to be: a distinguished university in the region, carrying out original internationally relevant research, a university developing the competences of the future, a university that is a valued partner for business as a source of talent, competence and knowledge, a university that is an attractive working and development environment of the most talented and committed employees, a university based on the organisation and technologies of the future.
