QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021: Release summary page

Occasionally errors are reported after the analysis is complete and after institutions have received their rank and scores. In such cases, QS first rectifies the issue and where necessary updates the institution with a corrected set of results. If a rank change occurs we place the corrected institution in its correct position but leave all other institutions unaffected. This can result in two institutions in the same rank position with slightly different scores. In the case of an institution being removed from the rankings, again no other institutions will be affected but a gap may appear in the ranks.

Following the compilation of our first release candidate for this ranking, several corrections have been made (see below):

March 11, 2021	Les Roches Global Hospitality Education moved to the correct row in the table of Hospitality & Leisure Management after a correction. Their child institution Les Roches Jin Jiang International Hotel Management College was excluded from the the table.
March 17, 2021	University Center César Ritz was excluded from the table of Hospitality & Leisure Management, being a child institution of Cesar Ritz Colleges.
March 17, 2021	The New School University's results in Art & Design were updated after a correction to our mappings. The university is now featuring as Parsons School of Design at the New School.
March 17, 2021	Durham University was excluded from the following tables, as they do not offer instruction in the corresponding subjects: Agriculture & Forestry, Materials Science, Medicine.
March 30, 2021	Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education was excluded from the table of Petroleum Engineering, as they do not offer instruction in this subject. Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City was included after screening.
March 30, 2021	After changes in the mappings of research papers to Scopus affiliations, the results of the following institutions were updated: The University of Melbourne in Dentistry, Utrecht University in Veterinary Science, University of Bath in Business & Management Studies.
March 30, 2021	The results of Indian Institute of Management – Calcutta were updated in Business & Management Studies, after their child brand was correctly mapped to the parent institution.
January 03, 2022	National Research Nuclear University returned to the rankings in Materials Sciences after rectifying their Citations per Paper and H-Index. After re-screening, RUDN University was included into the rankings in Politics.
