1. The cultural capital of Hobart
Your first stop in Tasmania has got to be the cultural hub of Hobart, with amazing views and so many corners of the city to enjoy. With a ton of art galleries to explore and some of the best coffee in Australia, I’m sure you’ll be happy hanging out here for a couple of days.
2. Wineglass Bay, Freycinet National Park
One of the most famous views in Tasmania (and for good reason), Wineglass Bay offers some of the most amazing views and is meant to be one of the world’s finest white sand beaches. The view is spectacular from the top of Mt. Amos, and you can even take a scenic flight over the bay for an unforgettable experience.
3. Port Arthur Historical Prison
Port Arthur is one of Tasmania’s most popular attractions, as a former prison whose remains can now be visited. It’s a truly unique experience to walk through this historical site and learn about the history of the building, which dates back to 1833.
