Mathematics and Natural Sciences

The Doctoral Program in Mathematics and Natural Sciences is among the academic offerings within the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Airlangga. Initially, this doctoral program was a constituent of the Graduate Program at the university. Nevertheless, per the directives of Rector's Decree Number 681/H3.8/PPd/2012, the program was formally integrated into the Faculty of Science and Technology in 2012. Initially, the program was conceived to integrate self-directed learning with structured lectures and research components. The standard duration for completing the program is 6 (six) semesters or 3 (three) years. However, under the provisions outlined in Rector's Decree Number 28 of 2017, the program can now be accomplished within six semesters.
