The specific learning outcomes of the Degree Programme in Electrical Energy Engineering are to train professional figures with solid basic knowledgeable to hold technical and organisational roles in the design, production, testing, management, control and maintenance of electrical installations and equipment, static and rotary electrical machinery and electrical/electronic power devices, on an individual and/or associated professional basis or working in manufacturing companies and service providers or public administrations and companies. These professional figures can also perform technical and commercial activities in companies working in the field of industrial engineering and particularly in electrical energy engineering. Therefore in the first year and the first half of the second year, graduates gain solid knowledge of the methodological and operational aspects of basic science(Mathematical analysis, Physics and Chemistry) and Engineering. The curriculum continues in the second half of the 2nd year and in the third year allowing students to acquire a command of the specific disciplines of electrical energy engineering, focusing on the knowledge of applied electromagnetism, electric circuits, machine converters and electric drives, electrical installations, components, technologies and electrical measurements. The programme also includes the acquisition of knowledge of electronics and automatic controls. The course is completed and integrated with laboratory work and elements of business culture delivered through lectures, seminars and an appropriate knowledge of the English language to CEFR level B2.

Admission to the degreeprogramme in Electrical Energy Engineering is subject to the possession ofeither a five-year high secondary school diploma or other suitablequalification obtained abroad. Additionally, knowledge and competence in thefollowing areas are required: - sound knowledge of written and spoken Italian,logical and reasoning skills, knowledge of and the ability to use key resultsof elementary mathematics and the fundamentals of experimental science - English language to CEFR level B1.
