The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Architecture is a pre-professional degree programme that is accredited by the Board of Architects Malaysia or Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) which exempts graduates from the LAM Part I Examination. Upon completion of the degree programme, students will graduate as Assistant Architects and they could further studies towards becoming Graduate Architects. We focus on a balanced set of attainment as you graduate. Once you’ve successfully completed this degree programme, you could embark on any of these exciting careers, including: Architectural Model Specialist; Architectural Photographer; Architectural Structure Specialist; Computer-Aided Design / 3D Visualiser; Interior Designer / Interior Architect; Resort / Hotel Architectural Conceptualiser; Theme Park Conceptual Architect; Town Planning Conceptual Architect.

  • SPM/O-level or equivalent: A pass in SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits, including Mathematics. (Except for UEC)
  • Pass an Interview and Aptitude Assessment (AA)

  • Taylor's Foundation in Design (FID): Pass with min. CGPA 2.00
  • Taylor's Foundation in Natural and Built Environments (FNBE): Pass with min. CGPA 2.00 (not subject to interview and AA)
  • Other Taylor's Foundation in related field: Pass with min. CGPA 2.00
  • Taylor's Diploma: Pass with min. CGPA 2.67
  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): Min. CGPA 2.67 in 3 subjects
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Pass with min. 5Bs including Mathematics
  • A Levels: Min. CDD or equivalent of min. 200 points excluding General Paper in student’s first language (any combination of grade not lower than Grade D)
  • South Australian Matriculation (SAM) / SACE International: Min. ATAR 70
  • Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Min. average of 65% in 6 subjects
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP): Min. 28 points and above based on 6 subjects
  • MUFY: Overall 60%
  • Foundation in related field from other institution recognised by Malaysian Government: Pass with CGPA 2.00
  • Diploma from other institution recognised by Malaysian Government: Pass with CGPA 2.67
  • Other foundation, matriculation, high school certificates from other institution recognised by Malaysian Government
