BSc (Hons) Chemistry

This Chemistry degree emphasizes on analytical chemistry and modern aspects of chemical science. This course is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry for partially meeting the academic criteria for Chartered Chemist (CChem) status. As well as traditional aspects of physical, inorganic, analytical and organic chemistry, this degree also covers biological chemistry, environmental chemistry, and organometallic chemistry. During the third year, students can undertake a practical research project of their choice, under the supervision of an academic member of staff.
