Have you found yourself getting those post uni blues? Perhaps you’ve just graduated, or maybe you’ve been a graduate for a while, but you just can’t seem shake those uni habits. All your friends have disappeared to different corners of the world and you just want to sleep all the time!

Well don’t fear – many people are in the exact same boat. Read on for 18 signs that you’re a graduate who is missing uni just a little too much...

1. You REALLY miss taking daytime naps

What do you mean I can’t have a 3pm nap in the office?

2. You’re pretty sure you’re not cut out for this waking up at 6 malarkey, so you’re always late for everything.

A queen is never late. Everyone else is simply early.

3. To solve this problem, you’ve replaced sleep with coffee (in a totally adult way, of course.)

This is what real adults do.

4. Your diet still consists mainly of pot noodles and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Not to mention waaaay too much pasta.

Serves four people? Ha! Good one.

5. You automatically ask for student discount, and then proceed to cover the expiry date when you show the shop assistant.

*I’m still young*

6. You miss living within walking distance to all of your friends, and get sad that they are now living all over the country.

So rude.

7. Mainly you just miss having a social life.

Please be my friend. Please.

8. Moving back in with your parents really isn’t the one.

What do you mean I have to pay rent now?

9. Although it is nice to have the fridge fully stocked

All of the snacks...

10. Employers just do not appreciate your skills as much as your uni friends used to.

Excuse me, I thought you wanted someone with transferrable skills.

11. You still wear your university sports hoody all the time. Even when people are no longer impressed that you were once the social sec for the football team.

My mum still thinks I’m cool.

12. When you start to realize that your student loan wasn’t just free money, and not only are you not going to get any more of it, you also have to PAY IT BACK!?

But I didn’t agree to this… did I?

13. When you wear the baggiest, most comfortable clothes to work in the hope of replicating those days that you used to go to lectures in your pyjamas.

There’s a fine line, and you’re walking it. Comfortably.

14. In fact, this whole having a job thing is quite tiring. Is it time for a summer holiday yet?

15. You still feel a bit guilty around exam time but then you remember you don’t have any exams…

Woo I’m free! Oh wait no, work is still a thing.

16. Then you realize that maybe you actually miss… learning.

I’ve just always thought of myself as more of an intellectual, you know.

17. And you’re extremely jealous of all the freshers starting in September because they’ve got all the good stuff to come.

These aren’t tears, it’s just my allergies…

18. Then you realize what you should do to cure the empty uni shaped void in your heart– do a masters!
