Students will be required to have a relevant health care qualification. If applicants first language isn't English, they'll normally need to undertake an approved English language test. The English Language requirements for this programme are IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.

On entering the programme students will be allocated advanced standing based on existing qualifications/education.

            Our research

            From the future of refugee housing to post-traumatic stress disorder, Edinburgh Napier's research shapes the world around us. More than half of our research submitted was rated either “world-leading” or “internationally excellent” in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF).

                In 2015, we were awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for the second time for our internationally-acclaimed work in timber engineering, sustainable construction and wood science.  This is the most prestigious award for the UK higher education sector for the impact of research on business, industry, environment and society – nationally and internationally. This was the second triumph for our School of Engineering & the Built Environment following a previous success in 2009.
