In this course students will explore marine biology, oceanography and management, examining the complex physical, chemical and biological interactions within the ocean. Through this Marine Science major, students will learn how to assess the state of the marine environment, recognize the impacts of climate change and be trained in marine management with an emphasis on coastal ecosystems. Students may combine this major with another major including Environmental Science, Conservation and Wildlife Biology, Environmental Management and Sustainability, Biological Sciences and Mathematics and Statistics.
