This course includes an integrated foundation year – ideal if you need additional preparation in the fundamental sciences and/or if you don’t have sufficient tariff points to join Year 1 of the degree directly. Apart from the foundation year, the remainder of this degree is identical to the programme BSc (Hons) Pharmaceutical Science and leads to the same level award. You develop an understanding of the physicochemical and biological principles that underpin the design, function, synthesis, analysis and delivery of pharmaceutical substances. Throughout this course we also help you develop the technical, practical and professional skills that employers value, and you have access to state of the art laboratories and equipment for laboratory training.
