Admission into the RN-BSN program occurs by application. Students who meet admission criteria are formally admitted to begin the RN-BSN. Students will receive 48 credit hours for a current, unencumbered license as a RN in the U.S. or a jurisdiction that is an associate member of the NCSBN. Up to 42 credit hours of Foundational (General Education) courses may be transferred in from a regionally accredited college or university. Students must maintain a GPA or 2.75 or higher. Students must achieve a grade of “C” or higher in all courses, Foundational (General Education) Health Sciences, and Nursing. The curriculum for the Bachelor of Science degree completion program consists of a combination of core, other required general education, and nursing courses accepted by transfer from an accredited Associate degree nursing program. Prerequisites: Unencumbered registered nursing license. Previous college credit with a 2.5 GPA. Nursing and general education courses by a regionally accredited institution by validation or articulation.
