Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science provides the breadth of knowledge in nutrition, from basic sciences to research for nutrition. Graduates will get an understanding of the role of nutrition plays in disease prevention and promotion of health and get prepared to become productive professionals aiming at improving well-being and health of the community. The program objectives: To provide knowledge, skills and professional values for a successful career in nutrition and potential entry into graduate education; To prepare graduates who demonstrate commitment to community service, leadership, communication, research skills, knowledge as well as ethical values. Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to explain scientific basis of human nutrition, nutritional requirements, nutritional epidemiology and research methods.
