Since its inception in 2003, the chemical engineering department has made great strides in providing high quality education to the students enrolled in the various courses offered by the department.  There are two primary objectives of the B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) course at JUET:

(a) Preparation of the student for the technical and analytical skills that he/she will require as a professional engineer.

(b) To equip the student with an adequate background of Humanities and Social Sciences that will be necessary to enable them to play an effective role as an engineer for the benefit of the society.
