The Chiththa Advanced Psychological Studies Open Institute of Sri Lanka

The Chiththa Advanced Psychological Studies Open Institute of Sri Lanka (CAPSOISL) is the World's First Open Institute for Psychology Studies since 2020 with the guidances of Public University Lecturers in Psychology as a not for profit higher educational institute in Sri Lanka. 

Also The Chiththa Advanced Psychological Studies Open Institute of Sri Lanka has become the Sri Lanka's First Open Institute to provides higher education and arrangements have been made to incorporate under an Act of Parliament in Sri Lanka.  After few years of establishment the governing council of the institute were decided to make diversity to provide higher education in,

• Business Studies & Human Resource Development
• Modern & Classical Languages Studies

In future CAPSOISL will be add more courses to promote best higher education in various academics that will be suitable for modern employment goals & sectors.

At the CAPSOISL lectures are taught by national university senior lecturers &  professors, ensuring the best quality education. At CAPSOISL, there is a flexible learning system where all lectures are recorded in video format and hence accessible at any time by students. This unique system cuts off the rigidity that is conventionally felt when using Zoom for lectures and shifts the prerogative of what learning schedule to implement into the hands of the students.

What makes CAPSOISL different is the flexibility. The lectures are online, pre-recorded videos, and so the students can prefer to them at a time and place convenient for them. This is a modern methodology for distance learning for the first time in Sri Lanka; busy professionals like doctors and lawyers can continue with further studies.

The CAPSOISL founded by Dr. Javith Jalill At the age of 23 years, with the key mission of democratizing higher education. Though young in age, she is the youngest Clinical Psychology Consultant and a Consultant Physician in Traditional  Medicine in Sri Lanka.
