The Bachelor’s in Computer Science for Business (CSB) is a full-time, on-campus undergraduate degree based at Hult’s flagship Boston campus. It’s built for students who don’t want to choose between tech and business: this interdisciplinary program combines computer science, analytics, and applied AI with the core human skills that employers value most.
This isn’t a traditional computer science degree aimed at future developers. If you want to understand how technology works and why it matters to business, CSB teaches you to balance technical expertise with strategic thinking. In year one, you’ll tackle the Startup Studio Challenge and the Decision Lab Challenge, building your foundations in programming, data analytics, and decision-making for technology. Year two moves into the Industry Build Studio Challenge and Deployment Lab Challenge, where you’ll work in a real product and engineering team to deliver a production-ready digital product.
From year three, you can specialize in tracks including Analytics, AI & Digital Products, Product & Entrepreneurship, Social Media & Growth, or Futures, and add an internship or global exchange to your degree. Studying in Boston puts you at the center of one of the world’s leading hubs for AI and innovation, with recent client companies including Apple, IBM, Deloitte, and Meta. From 2026, Hult has also partnered with the AI-powered development platform Lovable, connecting CSB students directly with Lovable’s engineers and AI experts from their first year.
You’ll graduate with a portfolio of working products, not just exam results, and with a skillset spanning tools like Python, SQL, cloud platforms, and large language models, alongside communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. CSB graduates have gone on to roles in data and intelligence, consulting and strategy, finance and risk, technical solutions, and entrepreneurship.
