Trinity University

Founded in 1869, Trinity University is a private university based in San Antonio in the US state of Texas. Offering 49 academic majors to its students, the university has around 2,500 students currently enrolled. Of these, students of color account for around 42 percent, while 60 percent of students come from within Texas. The next five most popular states for incoming students are California, Colorado, Louisiana, Arizona and Illinois.

Trinity University has proudly stated that it’s working towards being a carbon-neutral institution. After student lobbying, all coffee sold at on-campus facilities is Fair Trade, while several buildings have been renovated to improve their green credentials.

All students at Trinity University must participate in a Foreign Language, Computer and Mathematics Skills course. This is designed to ensure that every student has a minimum level of competence in a foreign language, can use computers to collect and organize information, and has at least three years of high school math education.
