The inception of the Doctoral Program in Accounting dates back to 2009, initiated under the Rector's Decree of Universitas Airlangga, documented as Number 819/H3/KR/2009. This program's establishment directly addresses the multifaceted challenges inherent to the rapidly evolving realm of accounting, firmly embedded within the broader discipline of economics. Spanning either 3 (three) or 6 (six) semesters, the Doctoral Program in Accounting welcomes applicants with Master's degrees in Accounting, Management, or Finance. Central to its curriculum are three foundational courses encompassing multivariate analysis, literature review, statistics, and econometrics. As a testament to its exceptional caliber, the Doctoral Program in Accounting presently holds the distinguished A accreditation, supplemented by international recognition from ABEST21.
