The inception of the Bachelor of Statistics study program is a recent addition to the Faculty of Science and Technology, having been established in 2011. The core objective of this program is to cultivate graduates who embody strong ethical values and possess the capability to adeptly comprehend, employ, advance, and innovate in the domain of statistical modeling across life sciences, social sciences, and the economy. Within the program's framework, students are presented with the option of delving into two recommended specializations: Statistical Modeling in Life Science and Statistical Modeling in Economic and Social contexts. The program is inherently responsive to the evolving demands of the professional landscape and the constant progress of scientific inquiry. These factors underscore the imperative for statistics graduates to demonstrate competencies that align with the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) curriculum, thus ensuring their preparedness to tackle contemporary challenges and contribute meaningfully to the realms of academia, industry, and beyond.
