There’s more to libraries than just books now. With the advancement of the Internet and computers, the skill set has changed dramatically in the last 20 years. Today’s school librarians are partners with school administrators and teachers in schools across the country.  As members of the educational team, school librarians prepare K-12 students to be researchers, expert users of technology, and lifelong learners.  The Library Media master’s degree will prepare you to work as a school librarian or technology specialist. Earn your master’s degree in library media, on-campus or online, and help secure and curate our history for generations to come. If you are considering applying to our program and would like guidance in creating a competitive application, consider taking our free self-paced course Preparing to Apply to Graduate School in Education. You’ll be asked to register with an email address and create a password. If you’re a current or former Auburn student, this system is separate from your AUAccess credentials.
