Bethel College, affiliated with the Missionary Church, is a Christian community of learners dedicated to building lives of commitment for leadership in the Church and the world. In 2022, Bethel College celebrates her 75th Anniversary. That threshold is not an insignificant flip of the calendar. It could be a gateway, an appointed time which affects how we work now. Years pass swiftly whether we pay attention or not. Bethel decided to pay attention. Bethel College has more than 50 years of experience providing educational opportunities to more than 20,000 alumni in Indiana, Michigan and online. To provide even more value to organizations and individuals in these communities, Bethel provides employee development, continuing education and certifications through the Center for Professional Development. Our staff can offer a variety of training options customized for your employees, or curriculum can be developed specifically for your organization. Training can be conducted at one of our locations, or on site for the convenience of your staff. The CHW is a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member of the community served. The CHW serves as a bridge between health/social services and the community to facilitate access to services and improve the quality and cultural competence of service delivery. Upon completion of the training, participants will be eligible for employment in organizations serving families, the elderly, children and youth, including outpatient medical/behavioral providers, hospitals, medical clinics, schools, churches and community centers.
