Customized for professionals with at least three years of work experience, the program will prepare students to become a technology manager, chief information or technology officer and to lead enterprises in innovative ways through a world-class, practical, IT and management curriculum. Full-time students complete the program over three study periods (12 months). Part-time students have up to five years to complete your program however, most complete the program in two to three years. The program requires 144 units in total: 96 units of core courses and 48 units of elective courses. . Elective courses will be offered in a variety of areas related to the technology and business of information and communication technology. These courses will be offered by resident faculty as well as by faculty from other CMU campuses through short-term visits and distance learning.

Applicants are required to submit their application along with the following:

1 - evidence of :

  • a completed relevant Bachelor's degree
  • 3 or more years of working experience in a relevant field

2 - a resume

3 - a personal statement

4 - two letters of recommendation

* All Information Technology programs require programming experience in data structures and an object-oriented programming language such as C, C++ or Java.
