About Catholic University of New Spain
The Catholic University of New Spain is a private higher education institution based in Miami, Florida. Established by a distinguished group of scholars from around the world, the University has at its core Catholic values and principles. The University offers certificate, master’s, and doctoral programs in a wide range of fields through an innovative methodology anchored on a decentralized network of learning pods. UCNE’s programs are offered in person, online, and in hybrid modalities. Faculty members are both accomplished practitioners and leading researchers in their fields. The Catholic University of New Spain integrates a rich cultural life in all its programs. One of the flagship programs of the University is the “Bernardo de Galvez” Cultural Center and the Noble Company of Bernardo de Galvez. The Center organizes conferences, public lectures, and supports research, dealing with Hispanic culture and heritage.
Students are supported in their spiritual growth by a team of dedicated chaplains who help them develop their ethical reasoning with a strong background on Catholic principles. Many of our chaplains engage in missionary work as part of the social engagement and outreach of the University.
Our wide network of partnerships includes both public and private universities in more than ten countries and thus allows us to provide our students with a wide range of opportunities in terms of research, student mobility, and job placement. UCNE also have agreements with several National Academies, considered to be the pinnacle of scholarly achievement for researchers, and thus provides an excellent springboard for our graduate students. Our two peer-reviewed journals are also available to our advanced undergraduate and graduate students.
