This program involves the study and application of the principles of security. It prepares its graduates to assume supervisory roles. It involves the study of the applicable interventions that confronts all types of human conditions and endeavors. It also includes the study and practice of the means of protecting resources from loss or damage.

Program Educational Objectives

This program aims to:

provide the students with a strong foundation on fundamental theories of industrial security and its administration;
provide the students with a comprehensive knowledge of the diverse issues and concerns affecting security in the industrial setting;
develop the students’ skills and competencies in the design of basic security systems and their operations and functions such as but not limited to corporate and organizational security, internal office security, information technology systems security, physical security, business and commercial security, executive protection, intelligence and investigations as well as security for vital infrastructures such as but not limited to seaports, airports and the likes;
develop the students’ ability to prepare programs for best approaches and practical applications of these fundamental theories and concerns;
produce graduates that would be best suited for professional careers in industrial security administration and the practice of security profession; and
to make the Philippine higher education and the security industry in particular at par with current international trends and responsive to the demands of globalization.
